Pre-order of ‘Sisters’ Song’ debut novel of Louise Allan
Come and join our special Open Mic session where author Louise Allan will talk about her Debut Novel ‘Sisters’ Song’ or ‘Het lied van zussen’ which is the Dutch translation. Her book was translated in only another language; which happens to be Dutch!
Although for this special Open Mic session the Dutch translation of her book sales has been closed now. You can pre-order now with Credit Card the English edition online (with the form at the bottom of this page) via the Neerlandia website. The book needs to be picked up on the night of the Maas en Waal Borrel, end of month drinks on November 29th, 2019 at the Rhein Donau Club, Myaree.
No discount will apply for the English edition, but the price is lower than the RRP. The English edition will be supplied by the author and a maximum of 50 copies can be ordered, so make sure you order in time.
The deadline to order the English edition book is Wednesday, November 20th, 2019; 11:30 pm or when 50 copies have been sold, whichever comes first.
Set in rural Tasmania from the 1920s to the 1990s, The Sisters’
Song traces the lives of two very different sisters, one for whom
giving and loving are her most natural qualities and the other
who cannot forgive and forget.
LOUISE ALLAN is a début author from Western Australia.
Louise won the 2018 Tina Kane Emergent Writer Award at the
Mildura Writers Festival. This manuscript was also awarded a
Varuna residential fellowship in 2014 and shortlisted for the City of
Fremantle-TAG Hungerford Award.
Louise grew up in Tasmania but has since moved to Perth where
she lives with her husband, four children and two dogs. She is a
former doctor and has a passion for music.
