The new law governing clubs in WA, the Associations Incorporation Act 2015, came into force on July 1, 2016. One of the provisions of this Act is that it is no longer satisfactory only to post the club rules on a website. Members must be specifically informed as to how they can access a copy of the club rules or, if that is not satisfactory to them, on request they must be supplied with a copy of the rules, either by email or a hard copy.
